ULTRAMAIN ELB

ULTRAMAIN ELB is the market-leading electronic logbook software, engineered to support any fleet type. ULTRAMAIN ELB is used for maintaining both flight and cabin logs and can be configured to meet individual operators’ unique circumstances. It has been specifically architected to operate in both an Internet-connected and offline mode and has a unique architecture designed to avoid the need to fall back to paper.

ULTRAMAIN ELB integrates seamlessly with the ULTRAMAIN v9 Unity MRO suite and can do the same with any system operating under the SPEC2000 Chapter 17 standards.

PAPERLESS FLIGHT – My Cup of Tea

British Airways is no stranger to ULTRAMAIN ELB software. ULTRAMAIN ELB v1 has been in production use on the British Airways 787 fleet since receiving operational approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority in 2015.

More recently British Airways upgraded to ULTRAMAIN ELB v2 Mobile across their entire fleet.  We are proud to be working with British Airways and to help them accomplish operational efficiency and cost savings through the use of ULTRAMAIN ELB software.

This ad was placed in several magazines in 2020 as a part of the customer Congratulations Series. Each ad highlights the customer livery, the key elements of the ULTRAMAIN solution used to go paperless, and a symbol that is unique to the customer. In the case of British Airways, we like the representation of “My Cup of Tea”.

PAPERLESS FLIGHT

2020

Japan Airlines (JAL) is the first airline in Japan to receive regulatory approval for paperless logbook (using ULTRAMAIN ELB), and paperless line maintenance (using ULTRAMAIN Mobile Mechanic). JAL worked closely with JCAB to ensure that all regulatory concerns were addressed.

The initiative for paperless was brought about by the purchase of their A350 fleet. The prospect of operating the most advanced aircraft available in the market with legacy paper processes was unacceptable to JAL. The result was a partnership with Ultramain Systems to implement the industry-leading Electronic Logbook and Mobile Mechanic to ensure rapid pilot and mechanic adoption.

Due to the overwhelming cost-saving achieved by going paperless, JAL is rolling out ULTRAMAIN ELB and Mobile Mechanic across all fleets (with the exception of those that will be retired).
